Girl Scout STEM Program

STEM programs motivate girls to take an early interest in science, technology, engineering and math.  We offer a variety of STEM programs throughout our council. Robotic Teams, space camps and career explorations days inspire girls to tackle tomorrow’s technological opportunities and challenges.

Our EDGE centers offer unique programs and workshops designed to get girls excited about science, technology, engineering and math. The Austin and Brownwood program centers offer technology labs with access to IBM Pentium desktop computers with high-speed Internet and a full suite of Microsoft software. Girls can also make use of digital cameras, microscopes and color printers.

We currently offer workshops in Photography, Videography, Desktop Publishing, Internet Safety and more! Join in on the fun at the EDGE Labs! Contact the Program Department for more information on scheduling a workshop.

Girl Scout Robotics Teams

Girl Scouts are learning valuable life skills as they discover how to build and program robots. Under the guidance of mentors, girls experiment with new techniques and learn from the outcomes. Girl Scouts who participate in robotics teams discover their ability to succeed with technology while developing strong teamwork skills. We have both FLL teams and FRC teams.
